After closing May 28 for preconstruction work, Swan Mountain Road will close again June 3-4 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for routine maintenance work, including ditch clearing and pothole filling, according to a news release.
Those with existing U.S. Forest Service permits will be able to access the road, the release stated, as long as they have the permit printed out. The release asks anyone without a permit to not drive through the closure for their safety and the safety of the maintenance crews.
