Szadzinski services today in Windsor

Former Breckenridge resident Margaret “Gosia” Szadzinski died tragically in a car accident on Dec. 14, after dropping her two children off at school, she was on her way to work. She was born Sept. 21, 1968, in Poland to Jozef and Janina Ratulowski. In 1982, Margaret immigrated to the United States along with her parents and two sisters.Margaret enjoyed the outdoors, especially hiking. She was a spectacular cook. She worked hard to provide the best for her family and never failed to put a smile on her face for others. Margaret will be remembered for her radiant beauty inside and out as well as her genuine kindness which touched the lives of many. She is survived by her husband, Andrzej; her two precious children, Lidzia and Jedrus; as well as her mother, Janina Ratulowski; her grandmother, Anna Podczerwinska; her two loving sisters, Anna Staszel and Agnieszka Las; and many others who loved her dearly. Through her life, Margaret overcame the deaths of her father, Jozef Ratulowski and her twin sons, Teofil and Jozef. A funeral mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. today at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 1250 7th Street, Windsor. Interment will be at 11 a.m., Thursday at Loveland Burial Park.Memorial contributions may be made to the Margaret “Gosia” Szadzinski Memorial Fund to benefit her children’s education, in care of Allnutt Hunter Chapel, 2100 N.
