Take time this week to honor emergency medical services

Please accept this letter of recognition of National Emergency Medical Services week during May 18-24, and my sincere thanks to all the emergency medical services (EMS) providers in our community.Summit County is very fortunate to have a large number of skilled EMS providers to aid all of us in times of illness and injury.Included in the many groups of professionals are Red, White & Blue Fire, Lake Dillon Fire, Snake River Fire, Copper Mountain Fire, Lower Blue Fire, Summit County Ambulance Service, Summit County Communications Center, Summit County Rescue Group, Summit County Dive Rescue, Copper Mountain Ski Patrol, Arapahoe Basin Ski Patrol, Breckenridge Ski Patrol, Keystone Ski Patrol and Risk Management, Flight for Life, and the EMS staff at the emergency facilities including Summit Medical Center, Copper Mountain Clinic, Breckenridge Medical Center and Keystone Medical Center.As you can tell, there are many professional EMS providers and organizations dedicated to our health and safety.Please take a moment this week to thank them for their efforts and acknowledge their contributions to our community.
