Team Summit Daily, continues skiing in Keystone’s 36 Hours event
KEYSTONEOnce again the Summit Daily News has decided to form a team for 36 Hours of Keystone. We have entered the Media Team Challenge where we will be competing against 8 other media teams from around the county, Denver and one all the way in from Utah. Our only stipulation is that at least one person on our team must take a run every hour. We are also required to answer a series on Trivia questions and by 9 p.m. on Saturday we’ll be eligible to win $3,600 which will be donated to a local charity of our choice. Now, the team. This year the team consists of three snowboarders and a skier. Tara Paladi, Miranda Reilly, Adam Smith and myself, the lone skier, Larisa Graham. Thursday evening as we were discussing our “strategy” I was told I would be “voted off the island, if the skier doesn’t hold up their end of the stick”. Which I find to be impossible since I was the one that formed the team. Needless to say, I won’t be slacking off the next 36 hours. We are going to keep you updated through our journey and especially in the wee hours of the morning when we are at our worst. So, if you would like to check up on our progress and see that we are still in the running go to http://www.summitdaily.com/36.Though we were all second guessing our decision to stay up and ski for 36 hours, we all agree that this is going to be a great time and a fun experience.Wish us luck!-Larisa GrahamCheck out the team blog about their runs at the 36 Hours event at:https://www.summitdaily.com/article/20071130/RECREATION01/71129015/-1/RECREATION
