Daily News staff report

a.sightunseen will be playing at Cecilia’s Bar in Breckenridge at 6:30 p.m. Saturday for Hope On The Slopes, an American Cancer Society benefit show. The show is all ages and will feature other local bands.

a.sightunseen won the Summit High School First Annual Tiger Talentastic Battle of the Bands. Competing against three other high school bands, a.sightunseen took top honors of the night.

Progressive alt-rock band a.sightunseen has deep roots in Summit County. Started by best friends Keegan Castor on drums and singer, songwriter and guitarist Bryce Silianoff seven years ago – in middle school – a.sightunseen has developed into a powerful trio being joined by bassist Keynan Roggasch in 2008. Having written their own songs from day one, a.sightunseen blends a progressive mix of alternative music and an intensely energetic live show.

a.sightunseen has played shows throughout Colorado, including shows at three20south, Liquid Lounge and The MotherLoaded Tavern. Inspired by their classic rock upbringing and their love of post hardcore bands, a.sightunseen brings their entirely unique perspective to the current music scene. Striving to push boundaries musically and lyrically, a.sightunseen tries to create something bigger than themselves and have people experience something different than they ever have before. Come to Cecilia’s Saturday and enjoy the show and help out a good cause.
