Teen cooking/nutrition class begins Tuesday

FIRC is offering a free cooking/nutrition class for teens in Summit. Cooking Matters for Teens teaches teens how to make healthy food choices, meals and snacks for themselves, their families and friends. The class will be held Tuesday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day, at the Frisco Recreation Building, 110 Third Avenue. There is no charge for the class and free groceries will be provided so that students can practice the recipes they learn. Contact Rob Murphy at FIRC, (970) 262-3888 x 322, or robertm@summitfirc.org, for more info or to sign up. Space is limited.
