Teen skier dies at Keystone

SUMMIT COUNTY A Connecticut teen died Tuesday after an accident on an expert trail at Keystone Ski Area. The 13-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the Summit Medical Center in Frisco after the incident on Diamondback, a black trail on the back side of Dercum Mountain.The Keystone ski patrol responded to the call at about 10:15 a.m. and provided life support. The patient was transported to the Summit Medical Center in Frisco, where he was pronounced dead. The skier was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident. Keystone didnt release any more details on the accident pending release of the official coroners report.
