Temporary location change for BOCC meetings

Daily Staff Writer

The Summit Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) will hold the next three work sessions and one regular meeting at the Summit County Community and Senior Center located on Peak One Boulevard southeast of Frisco. The work sessions are scheduled for 9 a.m. on Oct. 18, Oct. 25 and Nov. 1. The regular meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 25.The temporary change of venue from Breckenridge to Frisco is due to the anticipated large voter turnout expected once Early Voting begins on Oct. 18. Elections administrator Vicky Stecklein requested the use of the BOCC meeting room at the Old County Courthouse in Breckenridge for Early Voting in order to accommodate the many booths needed for the election.
