Thank you from the Summit Community Care Clinic

Jim Berg, executive directorSummit Community Care Clinic

A big thank-you goes out to the congregation of St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church in Dillon for organizing the First annual Golf Tournament for the benefit of the Summit Community Care Clinic. All who played in the tournament, hosted by Mount Massive Golf Course and those who attended the barbecue afterwards, had a great time.A special thanks goes out to our sponsors: David and Teresa Watson, Peak One Surgery Center, Ed Noordewier, Vail-Summit Orthopedics, Robert & Fran Jones, Centura Health, the Cheryl Love Team, High Country Health Care, Bill, Lauri, Madison, Meredith and Molly Bolthouse, Affordable Music, Steve and Judy Bowman, 1st Bank of Summit County, David & Pat Anderson, SharpShooter Imaging and St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church. But the biggest thank-you of all goes to Chris Watson for noticing the medical needs of the poor in Summit County and doing something about it. In all $2,733 was raised by this event. That money will be used by the clinic to provide basic primary health care to the low-income uninsured families of Summit County.
