Thanks for great ski weekend

The Summit County Rotary Club sponsored 24 high school students from around the world this past weekend for three days of skiing and snowboarding at Copper Mountain.Lift tickets were provided by Copper Moutain, and their food and beverage department provided a chicken dinner. Discounted rentals were provided by Christy Sports. A two-bedroom condo at Mountainside Condominiums was provided at a discount for the chaperones.Pizza Hut and Dominoes provided Pizzas for a party at the Mountainside Condos in Frisco. Safeway provided cakes and pastries. Graeme Johnston and Snow Business USA, Inc. provided Tee shirts given to each student.Ski Medallions were provided by the following organizations so that our volunteers could ski and ride at Copper Mountain, as many of the students were new to snow sports: Rocky Mountain Media, the Dick Masica Family, the Bob Follett Family, Thomas Davidson, DABL Development, Summit Daily News and Mark & Marilyn Hogan, and Baker Hogan & Houx.Anyone interested in hosting future students, or if you have a high school student who would like to study abroad, may contact Eric Fisher, eric@ericfisher.org, or Jim Brook, jimbrook22@gmail.com, with the Summit County Rotary Club or visit http://www.rye5450.org.
