DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT
Summit County, CO Colorado

Oscar, a 2-year old Labrador retriever at the Summit County Animal Shelter that needed surgery on both knees has found a home.

Shelter officials said the community flocked to help Oscar with donations for his surgery, which will take place within a couple of months, and he was adopted on Christmas Eve.

“He went to a very loving family in Breckenridge and is doing great,” reports Donna Taylor at the animal shelter. “Thank you, Summit County, for all your generous support! That fun loving-big, goofy yellow lab is most grateful!”
