A heartfelt thanks to all of the community members who helped make the 2005 Salvation Army Kettle Drive a resounding success.Your sharing raised a record amount of more than $16,000 that will benefit those in need throughout the year.Many thanks to the more than 150 bell ringers from Rotary, Summit High School Leadership and NHS, Dillon Valley Student Council, Breckenridge Elementary students, county employees, Seniors, Summit Prevention Alliance, Family & Intercultural Resource Center, Mountain High Painters, Summit County Catholic Community Confirmation class, Summit Daily News Holiday Fund, 4-H, Mountain Mentors and the many enthusiastic individuals and families. A special thanks to all who donated so generously.Thanks to City Market-Dillon, City Market-Breckenridge, Safeway and Wal-Mart for the use of their storefronts for a month.Once again, Summit County has risen to the challenge of helping others in our community.
