Thanks for the River of Life mural

Janet Elich
SCAEC board member

The Summit County Arts Exhibit Committee (SCAEC) would like to thank everyone involved in creating this wonderful addition to Frisco’s Main Street (between 2nd and 3rd streets). A public art project, in conjunction with the Fall for the Arts weekend, the process of the mural was effortless thanks to the following individuals: Candice VanRunkle for donating the image; Dick Boylan, owner of the fence; town of Frisco’s Bill Efting and Jocelyn Mills who thought of the location for the mural; Jason Brewer (and Mary Anne) of Skeevers who kept us well fed; Sheila Trowbridge, fellow artist, who braved the rain to assist and provided the paintbrushes; Daphne and Gene Schroth, Joanne Mahlowitz and all the others who showed up and added their personal touch to the piece. And Sherwin Williams’ Ryan Salamanca who donated all the Woodscapes Solid Stain for this project. The mural will certainly hold up to the weather for years to come!

Here’s to more public art projects!
