Thanks for warning signs

Douglas J. Trieste, Breckenridge

Last August, I wrote a letter to the Summit Daily News titled, “Safety Concerns In The Blue River At Breckenridge’s Blue River Plaza.” I recently noticed warning signs at the Plaza posted on each side of the river pertaining to dangerous flows. Whether or not that was in response to my letter, I would like to thank the town of Breckenridge – as would many others – for taking the initiative in doing so. Those signs may possibly prevent a tragedy from occurring in the river.
