Thanks Frisco Daisy Group!

The High Country Conservation Center would like to thank the Daisy group at the Frisco Elementary for volunteering to help educate their classmates about the new Compost in Schools program! The compost program was launched at Frisco Elementary on Monday, Oct. 4 and has so far been a huge success; in part because of all the help from the Daisy’s and their parents! The organics collected at Frisco Elementary will be turned into a nutrient-rich soil amendment, or compost, at the High Country Compost Facility. This program is made possible by a grant from Vail Resorts Echo.
