Thanks from Kathy McCormick

KATHY MCCORMICK, FRISCO

On behalf of myself and family, I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to those in the community who have shown concern and support for Patricia McCormick for the past five months. To those who wrote cards and made donations, it will be comforting to you to know your kindness is greatly appreciated and is such a help at what I consider to be the lowest point in my life. No one likes taking hand outs, but it is crucial we keep supporting our local organizations such as Advocates for Victims of Assault as well as the Family & Intercultural Resource Center. To Sara Vein, my crutch and someone who I trust completely, thank you for coming into my life and providing me with support and kindness. I don’t know what I would have done without you. Det. Julie Polly and the Frisco Police Department, once again, I thank you for your commitment to find my mom. The Sheriff’s office has continued to search for mom throughout the long and exceptionally hard winter, so thank you. I have personally thanked John Agnew, and I hope he knows he is a good man who would not give up. Your determination is outstanding. Summit County Rescue Group committed more than 3,000 voluntary hours to the recovery of mom. Thank you doesn’t even come close. I would also like to thank Noreen Renier, the psychic detective I hired in the depths of despair, who was very instrumental in providing clues as to the whereabouts of mom. Thank you to Anne Marie Ohly and her staff at Omni Real Estate for their support and contributions. I would also like to thank those people I don’t even know who reached out to help. May all of us in this dynamic community continue to help, grow and learn from this unfortunate event. Kathy McCormickFrisco

Summit Daily is embarking on a multiyear project to digitize its archives going back to 1989 and make them available to the public in partnership with the Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection.
