Thanks from the Care Clinic
Summit Community Care Clinic’s first major fundraiser was a terrific hit on March 8, thanks to so many people who were willing to donate countless hours and funds to ensure there is a healthcare home for Summit County’s working class. An enormous thank you to our host Copper Mountain Resort and key sponsors Krystal 93, Vail Summit Orthopedics, Centura Health, and Summit Daily News. Our Interfaith Task Force rose to the occasion by assisting in planning, marketing, and staffing the event. The participating congregations include St. John’s Episcopal Church, Father Dyer Methodist Church, High Country Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, Dillon Community Church, Synagogue of the Summit, Breckenridge Christian Ministries, Mosque in Silverthorne, One Community Church, Lord of the Mountains, and St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Thanks to the many local business people who donated their expertise and time- Summit Choral Society, Leon Joseph Littlebird, Nancy Cook, Jennifer Vanderbrug of Ready, Paint, Fire, Bob Bloch Photography, Event Production Services, Cindy Abramowitz of Butterhorn Bakery and Roman Moore from Krystal. Thank you to our bowl making and painting partners: Michelle Woods Pennisi, Jenn Cram and the Ceramics II and III Students from Colorado Mountain College, Colorado Academy Ceramics Students, Maggie Jones and her friends, Summit County Rotaract Club, and the Upper Blue Girl Scout Troop. Thanks to our key volunteers: Anne Seward, Dave and Teresa Watson, Judy and Bob Anderson, Fran Lazarus, Jude Mitchell, Barb Gibbs, Barb and Nick Payne, Debbie and Roy Kulby, Judy and Bob Anderson, Cindy and Rob Holthaus, Darryl Lee, Lisa and Alyson Brozovich, Pam Wilhite, and the Roodberg family.
