Thanks go out for donations to the Food Bank

Christina CarlsonFamily and Intercultural Resource Center

A very grateful thank you goes out to the Catholic Community of Summit County, St. Mary’s in Breckenridge and Our Lady of Peace in Dillon for their recent Lenten Food Drive benefiting the Food Bank at the Family and Intercultural Resource Center (FIRC). More than 75 bags of food staples, meal planning items and diapers of all sizes were donated in addition to $270 in cash. The community of Summit County tends to see an increase of families in need at the end of the ski season. This food drive helps us meet these requests by replenishing a food bank that has been utilized steadily through the cold winter months. It is with great thanks that we receive your generous donations.
