Thanks to Doggie Day participants

Christy D. Darling,
LAPS board member

A big thank you goes out to all those who participated in the annual Doggie Swim Day at the Silverthorne Recreation Center on Sunday. It was certainly a hoot watching our furry, four-legged friends enjoy “a day at the pool”!

On behalf of the Board for the League for Animals And People of the Summit (LAPS), we would like to thank our volunteers who helped with the event. Thank you Christy Darling, Louisa Morrissey, Ben Young and Laurie and Brian Tarola. LAPS would also like to give a big thank you to the Town of Silverthorne and of course, the great people at the rec center for hosting such a great event. A portion of the proceeds from Doggie Swim Day go to support LAPS programs for spay/neuter and medical/surgical financial aid. Once again, thanks to all!
