Thanks to Rotary Club of Summit County

I just wanted to send a quick note to thank you and the other members of the Rotary Club for the wonderful boxes of goodies you sent! I received them on Christmas Eve which was a great treat for me here. I have shared all the goodies with the men and women I serve with. Your soldiers appreciate gestures like that tremendously. It helps to know that the public still supports its men and women in uniform.

On behalf of the soldiers of 1st Battalion 38th Infantry Regiment, deployed to Afghanistan, I want to wish you and your family a very merry Christmas, happy holidays and a wonderful New Year!

Thank You again for the gifts you sent. Words cannot express how much it means to us.

Very Respectfully,

Maj. Mike Condon,

executive officer, 1-38 Infantry
