Thanks to stormwater forum sponsors

On behalf of the Blue River Watershed Group, I would like to thank the sponsors of ‘Stormwater and Erosion Control: Protect our Streams’.This public forum held on May 18th provided timely and valuable information regarding stormwater and erosion control on construction sites and urban areas. On May 19, 26 individuals received certification as CDOT Stormwater and Erosion Control Specialists through a day-long training course organized by the Blue River Watershed Group. These planners, engineers and developers are now better equipped for the implementation and management of storm water management plans, a key component to water quality protection at the local and regional levels. Thanks and due praise to the following organizations and companies that collaborated in making these events a success: Blue River Watershed Group: Summit Water Quality Committee, Denver Water, Summit County Contractors Association, Inc., Stan Miller, Inc., Grand County, Gilpin County, Summit Daily News, Sanders True Value and City Market in Dillon.Compliments and appreciation to our distinguished speakers Scott Olson of Altitude Training Associates and Doug Trieste of Flow Technologies.
