‘The Colorado River: Flowing through Conflict’ slide show and book signing

Continental Divide Land Trust hosts author and National Geographic photographer Peter McBride for a presentation of his new book “The Colorado River: Flowing through Conflict” at the Silverthorne Pavilion on Tuesday, March 29. Doors open at 5 p.m. with a reception and opportunity to meet McBride, followed by his slide show, Q&A and book signing from 6-7:30. In his full-color, photo essay book, McBride follows the entire length of the river’s epic 1,450-mile journey from its headwaters high up in the Rockies to its dried-up delta touching the Sea of Cortez. McBride’s book will be available for purchase.Tickets are available at the door with a suggested donation of $10 person, or $5 for school age kids.
