The last call for all

Revelers enjoy closing day at Copper Mountain Ski Resort.

Last week marked the close of the 2015 ski season for the majority of resorts in Summit County, with Arapahoe Basin Ski Area remaining as the last holdout for turns. However, the resorts weren’t the only one to hold last laps this month.

The Frisco Adventure Park hosted the last of the Bubblegum Ski Races, which allowed youngsters who are new to skiing to get out and try a race for themselves. More than 150 kids participated in the four-part race series.

The 55th Annual Loveland Derby took place last weekend complete with costumes, barbecue and racing. Loveland will look to remain open through May 3, but if you missed the derby you’ll have to wait until next year.
