The majority speaks

Ron Bristol Silverthorne

Eric Collier (along with many others in these pages) lamented the ignorance of the American people that voted for President Bush (SDN Nov. 5). While his letter had many points upon which I could expound, I will keep it to just one.In his letter he says, “This is not a victory for common sense, morality, or even patriotism.”Now here’s my question. While some of you may feel that you are more enlightened than most, if your sense does not match with the majority of the voting public, who has the more common sense? Just wondering.
