The strength of America is its youth

At the Gravity Games in Copper Mountain, I worked for a private company that provides security for all on-mountain venues. We checked in for our shift in a trailer brought in for the event. The trailer was also used for a staging area for the workers tasked with putting up the towers, course barriers, signs and other labor-intensive work for the event. While I understand that the event, overall, was successful, I would like to compliment these young people – Copper Mountain employees. As a baby boomer and father of two sons, I know that sometimes these kids get a bad rap for the behavior of a few. However, this group was hard working, conscientious, polite, funny, considerate of others, and very obviously a team. The strength of America is its youth, and we should be proud of this group.Too many names to mention, but, thanks for making my long hours fun.
