In response to recent letters including those about gay marriage, I think that a truly spiritual person, rather than squawking, “Read this book, read this book,” has at least enough compassion to consider other points of view.

“The Truth” is only true for the individual because God encompasses everything. Paradigms like “good” and “bad” (and “male” and “female”) only exist because we assign them.

I would suggest that letter-writer Lori Nuzollilo read another book, in addition to the Bible.
