This week’s weather forecast in Summit County: Early week thunderstorms will turn to sunny skies

The seven-day weather forecast for Summit County, Colorado, calls for showers and thunderstorms at the beginning of the week, turning into sunny skies and warm temperatures into the weekend, according to meteorologists from The National Weather Service.

Today brings a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly between 1–7 p.m., with a high of 68 degrees. Tuesday calls for a slight chance of showers in the morning, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Wednesday calls for a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon, before high temperatures raise to the low 70s by Thursday.

The rest of the week is forecasted to be sunny skies throughout the weekend, with a slight chance of storms on Sunday.
