Three-hour parking restrictions resume in Breckenridge

Daily News staff report

After a short hiatus from timed parking restriction enforcement in May, the Town of Breckenridge will again be writing tickets for vehicles exceeding posted parking limits.

Pay parking lots, including Tiger-Dredge, F-Lot, Wellington Lot and East Sawmill will remain free during the summer months, however. Vehicles may not be parked in the lots for longer than 24 hours including overnight.

Pay parking at in-town lots will resume Nov. 1, according to a statement from the town.

Vehicles may also be parked overnight in the designated three-hour parking lots, but must be moved by 8 a.m. Three-hour parking limits are in effect from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to the statement.

The satellite and ice rink lots offer extended parking for $5 per night

The town also issues parking permits for locals and guests. Many permits have a renewal date of July 1, the statement said.
