Tickets for Mary Chapin Carpenter go on sale Friday

Breck Music has started planning for the summer. Singer-songwriter Mary Chapin Carpenter will perform in Breckenridge in July and tickets for the concert go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 11.

Known for hits like “Passionate Kisses” and “He Thinks He’ll Keep Her,” Carpenter has five Grammy Awards and 16 nominations. One of those is a 2022 nomination for Best Folk Album for “One Night Lonely,” a live album recorded without an audience during the coronavirus pandemic. She is also one of 15 women in the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Doors open at 7 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. show July 9 at the Riverwalk Center, 150 W. Adams Ave., Breckenridge. Tickets range from $50 to $60. Visit BreckMusic.org to purchase.
