‘Tis the season for traffic control

With Thanksgiving weekend quickly approaching, Breckenridge Police Officers will be implementing their traffic control plan. By directing traffic at specific intersections in town, officers help impact the level of traffic congestion by providing a more effective flow of vehicle and pedestrian traffic in a safe manner. Drivers should expect to see police officers directing traffic at certain locations in town during the upcoming busy weekends and holidays. The heaviest congestion is normally between the hours of 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. during all busy weekends and holiday vacation times. The Breckenridge Police Department would like to ask all drivers to be patient and courteous to other drivers and pedestrians.
