To our friends and neighbors of Summit

Tina Campbell

My family and I wish to convey our heartfelt thanks to all those who expressed their concern in our time of need. The community response to the tragic fire that took the life of my husband, Dan, and destroyed our home was unexpected, yet truly overwhelming and appreciated.

We moved to Summit County over 20 years ago to start a business and raise our family. We accomplished this and became part of the wonderful close community known as Summit.

This small town closeness was strengthened by the professionalism of the Lake Dillon Fire-Rescue, SC Sheriff’s Department, the Summit Advocates, Summit County Animal Shelter and the outpouring of support from SHS and school district, Copper Mountain, and the many individuals and businesses that came forward to help.

Please join our family in a celebration of Dan’s life, planned for after June 11. A definite time and place will be announced.
