Today’s forum to consider Summit County’s energy alternatives

What is Summit County’s energy future? That’s the subject of a public forum being held from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday at the Community & Senior Center near Frisco. There a distinguished panel will lead a conversation about both emerging and established alternatives to fossil fuels as a prescription to true energy independence for Summit County, Colorado and the nation. The panel includes: Michael Bowman of Bowman Family Farms in Wray; Duke Cox of Western Colorado Congress in Grand Junction; Mark Mathis of Confluence Energy in Kremmling; Bo Tomlyn of Breckenridge; Eric Westerhoff of Innovative Energy in Breckenridge. The forum is sponsored by Our Future Summit, a “quality of life” institution dedicated to a better Summit County by providing opportunities each month for informed discussion on topics of interest to the community.
