Ninth Annual Frisco Family Fun Fair

Circle The Summit/7th Annual Bob Guthrie Memorial Ride

Frisco, Aug. 16

6:30 a.m., Frisco Town Hall, 1 Main St. The Circle the Summit rides all begin in the Town of Frisco, then circle Lake Dillon before taking off on your choice of four routes. Besides the out-of-this-world views, you’ll enjoy well-marked routes, incredible aid station snacks, and a delicious after-the-ride lunch catered by the Arapahoe Caf and Pub/Bonnie Q BBQ.

Run the Rockies Trail 10K & Half Marathon

8 a.m., Frisco Adventure Park, 621 Recreation Way. Explore the beautiful Frisco Peninsula trails and run 13.1 or 6.2 miles to wrap up your summer trail running.

Warrior Dash Rockies

Copper Mountain, Aug. 16

8:30 a.m., Copper Mountain Resort, 209 Ten Mile Circle. The ultimate event for thrill-seeking athletes, featuring extreme obstacles, live music, free beer, warrior helmets and muddy shorts.
