World Cuisine Wine Dinner

Breckenridge, Oct. 21

6:30 p.m., Blue River Bistro, 305 N. Main St. Come experience an elegant four course pinot noir wine pairing and dinner at the Blue River Bistro. Chef Foy Maloy will prepare a menu from highly prestigious pinot noir appellations that is sure to delight any palate. All proceeds benefit the National Repertory Orchestra. Tickets for the event are just $75 per person and include an amazing four course dinner, pinot noir wine pairings, tax and gratuity. Pumpkin Patch

Breckenridge, Oct. 21-25

10 a.m. to 7 p.m., The Church at Agape Outpost, 15404 Colorado 9. Come visit an indoor pumpkin patch. There are free treats and hot cider as well as a photo spot for visitors to remember their visit. A portion of the proceeds go to support different missions organizations across the globe. There is free kids story time each Friday at 10 a.m.

5×5 Competitive Basketball League

Breckenridge, Oct. 21

6-8 p.m., Breckenridge Recreation Center, 880 Airport Road. Once the snow starts falling, head indoors and spend your Tuesday evenings in the full court, 5-on-5 competitive basketball league. (970) 453-1734.

Arts Alive

Breckenridge, every day

11 a.m., 501 S. Main St., La Cima Mall. Arts Alive Gallery is pleased to highlight the work of Heather Davis for the month of October. Heather’s work spans a large and varied collection. She paints western art, still lifes, landscapes and portraits in oil. An artist is in the gallery daily to discuss all the local artists work . (970) 453-0450.

All Day, all library locations. The Summit County Library’s Friends of the Library are selling paperback books in each of the three branches. Stop by your library and buy a book or two and help to create children’s programs and adult author visits at your library. Currently these books are buy two for one low price. (970) 668-5555.
