Wassail Days

Frisco, Dec. 7-14

All Day, Main Street in Downtown. There are many Wassail traditions throughout the world, but in Frisco, Wassail Days is an holiday experience for people looking for unique shopping and a slowed down version of holiday celebrations. Shoppers can buy a commemorative Wassail mug from participating merchants and at the Frisco/Copper Information Center located on 3rd and Main. Take your mug from shop to shop and taste each merchant’s interpretation of Wassail. At the end of your shopping, vote for your favorite Wassail.



Open House

Breckenridge, Dec. 7

9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Gold Run Nordic Center, 200 Clubhouse Drive. Free to the public. The festivities will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6 with an interactive wax clinic. On Sunday, December 7, at 9 a.m. come for a winter warm up- 30 minutes of stretching and core exercises specifically focusing on winter activities, followed by a 60 minutes on snow clinic. Meet the new staff and welcome back our returning team who will be on hand to answer any questions about the upcoming season including clinics, lessons and equipment. (970) 453-1734.



Art Gallery at Keystone Lake

Keystone, Dec. 7

11 a.m., Art Gallery at Keystone Lake, located across from the Adventure Center at the ice skating lake behind the Lodge. The Holidays are here. The gallery is ready with a Christmas Market. Gift items include jewelry, ceramics, wood work, quilting, photography, art work and more. Visit 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, then daily through the winter starting Dec. 13.

Handmade Holiday Market

Breckenridge, Dec. 7

Noon to 4 p.m., Breckenridge Arts District, 110 East Washington Ave. Stroll the campus with a warm cup of cider or cocoa, visit the decorated historic structures, and enjoy music and artist demonstrations at the various studios. In addition, visiting artisans will be selling fine crafts including jewelry, ceramics, candles, accessories and more, with no gift item priced more than $50. (970) 453-3187.

Soup Cup Classic

Frisco, Dec. 7

4 p.m., Frisco Day Lodge, 621 Recreation Way. Sample soup and vote for the best. Admission includes tubing, two beverages, and unlimited soup.
