Domus Pacis Family Respite Food for Families Friday

Frisco, April 10

11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Summit County Community and Senior Center, 83 Nancy’s Place. Help create meals to nourish families on a cancer journey by allowing them time to relax and enjoy their respite week in Summit County. Domus Pacis provides the recipes, ingredients and containers. You provide your time and a desire to make a difference. Bring an apron if available, a way to tie back or cover your hair, and closed-toe shoes with non-slip soles. Donations of ingredients and food storage supplies are gratefully accepted for this project.

Bristlecone Montessori School Spring Festival

Alma, April 10

5 p.m., Alma Town Hall, 59 Buckskin St. Bristlecone Montessori School, a nonprofit school in Alma, for children pre-school – 6th grade, is having its Annual Spring Festival. The evening includes an Italian buffet dinner, an amazing silent auction and entertainment by the Sweet Alma Soul Sisters (SASS) and the Backyard Beserkers. Proceeds will go to Bristlecone’s Scholarship/Financial Program.

Ryan Hutchens

Keystone, April 10

4:30-7 p.m., Inxpot, 195 River Run Road. Ryan Hutchens of the South Carolina band, Cancellieri, will be performing a solo acoustic set. This show is free to the public and will take place on the front porch of Inxpot, weather permitting. (970) 262-3707.
