Keystone Resort’s third annual Oktoberfest event returns to River Run Village on Saturday, Sept. 5 with the return of the Das Bier Burner 5K, seasonal craft beers from New Belgium Brewery, free music from Those Austrian Guys and traditional German dance performances from the Edelweiss Schuhplattlers.

Copper Mountain, Sept. 5 & 6

10 a.m., Copper Mountain Resort, 209 Ten Mile Circle. A Labor Day tradition, Copper Country celebrates the best of the American spirit with live music and arts. The line-up this year will feature free concerts from Jimmie Vaughan, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Three Dog Night, Orleans, Buckwheat Zydeco, The Long Players, and Savannah Jack.

Kahuna Beach Party

7 p.m., Lake Dillon Amphitheater, West Lodgepole St. Kahuna Beach Party is a musical celebration of Beach Boys, a lighthearted tribute to the optimistic feeling of the early 1960s.

7 p.m., Frisco Senior Center. Welcome Square Dancers. We are looking for old members of Timberline Toppers to return for an evening of fun, friendship and great dancing. Roger Schappell will be calling with Rounds by Elaine Fogel. 7- 9:30 p.m. and afternoon plus at 3 p.m.
