Met Opera Live in HD: Il Travatore, Verdi

10:30 a.m., Colorado Mountain College, Breckenridge, 107 Denison Placer Road. Join the National Repertory Orchestra at the live broadcast of Il Travatore from the Metropolitan Opera in New York. The Met is celebrating its 10th year of broadcasting operas live in over 30 countries around the world and thousands of theaters. Be sure not to miss this incredible performance by the Met.

Afterschool Skateboarding Drop in

Breckenridge, Oct. 5

3:30 p.m., Breckenridge Recreation Center, 880 Airport Road. All children are required to wear a helmet and bring their own skateboard. Elbow and knee pads are optional but recommended. Transportation is provided from Upper Blue and Breckenridge Elementary. Students not attending Breckenridge schools are encouraged to participate but need to provide their own transportation. Join the Conflict Resolution Coalition and Friends of the Summit County Libraries for a presentation featuring State Representative Millie Hamner, County Commissioner Karn Stiegelmeier, and Mary Zinn with the statewide Conflict Resolution team.
