Arapahoe Basin Ski Area is offering quick tips and tricks with free One Run Lessons this season. the One Run Lesson on Sunday, Feb. 21 at 1:30 p.m. will pair you with an instructor for one run from the Black Mountain Express lift. Good for all ages and abilities, the One Run Lesson provides quick tips for refining your ski, snowboard or telemark technique, and introduces you to the A-Basin Snowsports School.

Foundations and Boat Person

4 p.m., Lord of the Mountains Lutheran Church, 56 Highway 6. Shows are free, but limited general seating. Please call (970) 513-0315 to reserve a seat. Foundations tells of a brave and precocious young woman who survives the fall of the Shah and radical Islam, immigrates to the US and becomes a successful architect.

College Goal Sunday Breckenridge

Breckenridge, Feb. 21

1 p.m., Colorado Mountain College, 107 Denison Placer Road. Students and parents can receive free help in applying for college financial aid for any college or university at College Goal Sunday. Bring 2015 tax information and the students Social Security number.
