Ullr Fest

Breckenridge, Jan. 11-17

3:30 p.m., Breckenridge Ski Resort, 1599 Saw Mill Run Road. This annual week-long celebration of Ullr (pronounced Ooh-ler), the mythical Norse god of snow, brings to Breckenridge a legendary Main Street parade along with live entertainment, the Ullr Dating Game, a Nordic party, Ullympics and a family ice skating party. It’s a week long zany celebration for the whole family unlike any other festival anywhere on Earth. (970) 453-5000.

March Fourth Marching Band

Frisco, Jan. 11

8:30 p.m., Barkley Ballroom, 610 Main St. The original Steamfunk Rock-n-Roll Circus Party from Portland. With marching band-themed costumes, a five-piece percussion corps, seven-part brass section, electric bass and guitar. Boot-stomping Americana Gypsy-Rockers Bonnie and the Beard open at 9 p.m. $15.
