Ullr Fest

Breckenridge, Jan. 16 & 17

3:30 p.m., Breckenridge Ski Resort, 1599 Saw Mill Run Road. This annual week-long celebration of Ullr (pronounced Ooh-ler), the mythical Norse god of snow, brings to Breckenridge a legendary Main Street parade along with live entertainment, the Ullr Dating Game, a Nordic party, Ullympics and a family ice skating party. Ski with a Ranger

Summit County, Jan. 16

11 a.m., Keystone, Breckenridge & Copper Mountain Ski Resorts. Friends of the Dillon Ranger District has partnered with local ski resorts and the US Forest Service to offer free one hour, on-hill skiing, or riding, nature tours. Friendly and knowledgeable volunteer rangers will educate visitors and locals alike. Tours will require guests to have proper ski equipment, lift tickets, and intermediate skiing/snowboarding ability.
