The Alpenglow Chamber Music Festival hosts a soiree at a private home in Silverthorne Friday, Sept. 18 with artistic directors Rieko Aizawa (pictured), piano, and Jesse Mills, violin. Guest artists include Bart Feller, flute, Daniel Lippel, guitar, and Raman Ramakrishnan, cello. Tickets are $75. Alpenglow Chamber Music Festival Soiree

Silverthorne, Sept. 18

7 p.m., Private home in Silverthorne, Provided with purchased ticket. With Artistic Directors Rieko Aizawa, piano, and Jesse Mills, violin, and guest artists Bart Feller, flute, Daniel Lippel, guitar, and Raman Ramakrishnan, cello. Champaign reception on arrival and light refreshments following the performance. Intimate setting in a lovely private home with opportunity to meet and mingle with the musicians and other guests. Limited seating, tickets $75.

8 a.m., Lord of the Mountains Lutheran Church, 56 US Highway 6. Modified Kundalini Yoga focuses on strength, breathing and flexibility. All levels welcome.

Family Gym Time

Breckenridge, Sept. 18

10 a.m., Breckenridge Recreation Center, 880 Airport Road. Inflatable jungle is set up along with gym mats and other play equipment, so kids can have a roomy, warm, indoor space for active play and socialization.
