Today’s top five things to do in Summit County

The town of Dillon will host a bonfire on Friday, Dec. 11, Dec. 18 and Jan. 8 from 5:30–7:30 p.m. Also on the same Fridays are Arts & Crafts at The School House Museum, 403 E. LaBonte St. from 5:30– 7:30 p.m. Take a break from the bonfire and step inside for a warm beverage and fun crafts in the school house museum. Lake Dillon Theater will also offer free Holiday Puppet Shows Friday, Dec. 11 at 10 a.m., and Saturday Dec. 12 at 4 p.m. and Jan. 8 at 5 p.m. On Friday, Dec. 11, there will be free Holiday Magic Shows at Lake Dillon Theatre. Also at LDTC, free Puppets & Things on Strings will be Friday, Jan. 8 at 5 p.m.

Late Night, Date Night, Create Night

9 p.m., Barkley Ballroom, 610 Main St. With their original songs featuring an infusion of reggae with elements of funk, rock and roll, improvised jamming and dub, Rastasaurus is constantly exploring and expanding its own unique blend of American reggae. Free show.

New Moon Snowshoe Tour

5 p.m., Gold Run Nordic Center, 200 Clubhouse Dr. Experienced guides lead you on a wild adventure, without and guidance from the moon, while they share stories of our historical and natural environment. Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Candlelight Vigil for Gun Violence

Frisco, Dec. 11

4:30 p.m., Frisco Historic Park. Summit Interfaith Council remembers those taken by gun violence. Bring battery operated light sources. Come in remembrance of the third anniversary of the Sandy Hook School shooting in Newton, CT. (970) 368-0923.

5:30 p.m., Dillon Town Park. Come sit by the Fire with Santa, roast marshmallows, sip hot cocoa and sing along with Summit Choral Society.
