Tony Flitcraft: Question about school budget

Tony Flitcraft
Frisco

Wednesday’s SDN reports that the school board will receive a detailed analysis of the polling results which address public opinion of a mill levy on next November’s ballot. The board will decide whether to go ahead with a ballot question and vote on its language.

Seems to me the cart is getting ahead of the horse. The board should already know what and how much is needed to cover identified requirements, and the impact of not meeting those requirements. Apparently the polls are furnishing the board a wish list.

If the the board doesn’t know, and pass the information to voters, how can I assess how I should vote?
