Tony Flitcraft: Too much for super search

Tony Flitcraft
Frisco

Haven’t we seen this movie before? Several years ago we paid a firm to identify candidates for superintendent, paid transportation costs and living expenses for those identified to come and be interviewed, hired the one deemed best qualified, only to fire her early in her first school term because she “didn’t fit.” We ended up promoting and hiring the local candidate, Dr. Hamner, who did a splendid job and will soon retire. The whole process cost a couple of hundred thousand dollars.

It’s easy to see why the school district needs the money we just voted for.
