Too much hubbub offered about the Reagan legacy

Bill BauerSilverthorne

I am sincerely sorry that Ronald Reagan has died, as I would be for anybody who has grown old and passed away.Thank God he lived a long and useful life and had love in it. I do not agree, however, about all the hubbub of his legacy. He was one of the worst presidents, in my opinion, we have ever had, leaving a legacy of hate, cruelty and economic disaster that will take generations to overcome. He was a mouthpiece for the very rich, the great communicator for the very few, the one who left millions with very little, and his legacy has left many with little health insurance and few benefits. Shame, I say, on those who tout his legacy. Sure, he was cute. He was a clown, good at delivering lines for the wealthy. He was a superstar, but what did he leave for the poor?
