Best Pet Supply – A&A Pet Supply and Feed

For the third year in a row, A&A Pet Supply and Feed has won the Best Of Summit votes. The family-owned business has been around for nine years, happy to serve the pets and pet owners of Summit County. The store carries a variety of items for dogs and cats, as well as things for smaller animals. It also caters to larger animals, like horses, making it part pet store, part feed supply. An expansion out back has allowed owners Dan and Sarah Grunes to add even more to their inventory.

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.

Best Veterinarian – Vanessa Koehler (Frisco Animal Hospital)

Dr. Vanessa Koehler of Frisco Animal Hospital has been serving the veterinary medical needs of Summit County pets since 2011. “It is important to me that my clients and patients have access to the best care possible so they can enjoy the outdoor mountain lifestyle we all know and love,” said Koehler, who along with her own two dogs, loves calling Summit County home. Frisco Animal Hospital is now open six days a week with extended hours to address those needs. Koehler added, “I feel privileged to serve the four-legged family members of my community.”

Honorable Mention – Denisa Court (Farmer’s Kroner Veterinary Hospital), Mark Cowan (Buffalo Mountain Animal Hospital)
