Town of Blue River to conduct special election to fill seat on its board of trustees

The town of Blue River will be conducting a special municipal election to fill a Board of Trustees seat left vacant by the death of Ted Pilling.

The special election has been set for Tuesday, Dec. 17, according to a town of Blue River email newsletter. The election will occur by mail. The vacant Board of Trustees position will expire April 2026.

Anyone interested in running for the position on the Board of Trustees must be a registered elector of the town of Blue River at the time of nomination and election, among other requirements. Candidate petitions may be picked up at Blue River Town Hall and must be returned by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9. A minimum of 10 signatures are required.
