Town of Frisco to host open house on parks

Summit County staff report

Community members are invited to share their thoughts and ideas on Frisco’s parks during an interactive open house next week, welcoming residents to share their insights as to the challenges and opportunities at each of the town’s parks. The information gathered from the meeting will help to inform goals and policies for parks in the new community plan.

“We’ve heard a lot from community members about our parks, including improvements and additional facilities,” said Susan Lee, planner. “Most of the feedback has been on a very broad level so we’re excited to be able to host this meeting to gain insight on what people want to see and what kind of experience they want to have at each of our parks.”

Participants at the open house will be able to review existing conditions of the parks, including aerial photos, as well as share their thoughts on the character and future possibilities of the town’s parks.

The open house will be held at the Frisco Adventure Park Day Lodge on Nov. 7 from 5-6:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served, and children are welcome. For more information go to Friscogov.com or contact Susan Lee at susanL@townoffrisco.com or 970-668-2566.
