Town of Frisco to present grants Tuesday

Daily News staff report

Frisco will present more than $46,000 in grant awards for 2013 at a ceremony set for 7 p.m. Tuesday. The award presentation will precede the normal council meeting in the Council Chambers at Frisco Town Hall, according to a town statement.

More than 30 nonprofits will receive grants.

The town provides the grants to nonprofits who submit applications seeking cash and in-kind donations through a countywide program. The deadline to apply is August for money awarded the following year.
